Alan Judd
My name is Alan Judd. I am striving to be a follower of Christ. I am thankful that God allows me to be Amy’s husband and a dad to Adrian, Anderson, and Adam. I obtained an undergraduate and graduate degree in Biblical Studies from Freed-Hardeman University. I have also completed a funeral director education program at John A. Gupton College. I hold licensure in the state of Tennessee, and I have spent time working in my in-laws funeral firm. I have preached full-time for churches of Christ in Lexington, TN; Meridian, MS; Allons, TN; and currently in Crossville, TN, where I serve as minister of the Crossville church of Christ. I enjoy studying and meditating on God’s Word and realize as I learn more, I need to learn more and grow to be more like Jesus my Savior (Romans 8:29). My purpose in writing here can best be summarized by the closing words of the last sermon delivered by John Donne in 1631 when he declared: “There we leave you in that blessed dependency, to hang upon him that hangs upon the cross.” (Alan joined in 2018)
Derek Broome
My name is Derek Broome. I am the associate minister at Siwell Road church of Christ in Jackson, MS. I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in May of 2010 and immediately moved to Jackson to work with the congregation here at Siwell Road. While at Freed-Hardeman I met the love of my life, Hannah, and we were married in May of 2011. We have two kids: Emma and Joshua. Each day I strive to live as a faithful Christian, husband, father, and friend. (Derek joined in 2018)
Jonathan Medley
Who am I? I sometimes feel like I’m still trying to figure that out. My name is Jonathan Medley. I am an engineer and CPA by training, a banker by trade, and a Christian by grace. I married the love of my life Jenna in 2006 after we both graduated from Tennessee Tech University. God has added three wonderful kids (Avery, Tucker, and Ellie) to the mix to make our family complete. We are blessed to worship with the saints at the Willow Avenue church of Christ in Cookeville, TN. (Jonathan founded the blog in 2017)
Michael Clarke
My name is Michael Clarke. I am a 2017 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and am currently preaching at the Somerville church of Christ in Somerville, TN. I am married to Meagan and we have been blessed with a son, Adam.
